So another month is in the book and I am now an Ironman! May was filled with a week of hard training, a week of easier training, taper, race, rest, then back to training for the last few days of May. So here are my training hours! I also did my first bike race today so at some point I will write up a little something about the race. But it was TOUGH.
Total Training Time: around 55 hours
Swim Training: 31940 yards in 9 hours and 42 minutes
Cycling Training: 498 miles in 27 hours and 6 minutes
Run Training: 130.78 miles in just over 18 hours
So not bad for an IM month that had a 2 week taper and a weeks rest after the race!
